Not sure if this is everybodies cup of tea but I enjoyed this film, It isnt fast paced by any means which I found added to the feel of the film, I feel that this pace was intentional to pull you into the world our lead character is living, trying to claw his way out of the gutter. The opening scene itself sets the tone for the whole movie two boys from a tough background trying to earn a buck to escape from their own reality, we see them gazing to the stars which could represent their dreams and aspirations, then we are shown the true reality of where they are from, children out after dark unsupervised hits home that your not in the posh suburbs and although we relate to their plight their intentions are clear from the start, they have a heart (showing children the wonders of astronomy) yet they also have no morals which we see when they charge children 25p a look, its a theme that is repeated throughout the movie but the product they are selling has changed and a wedge is driven between their friendship, I could go on but i'll let somebody else comment and i'll come back to this.
